Nahlkin Warranty
A Nahlkin warranty covers the repair or replacement (at Nahlkin’s discretion) of your Nahlkin product if it isfound to be defective due to faulty materials or workmanship within the warranty period of 5 yea fromthedate of delivery and installation. If the installation does not occur within a period of 1 week from date ofdelivery, the date of warranty shall start 1 week post the delivery of the product.
If any part is no longer available (e.g. particular color variations), Nahlkin will replace it with a functionalreplacement part.
What isn’t covered by a Nahlkin warranty?
Nahlkin products are engineered and constructed for continual high performance in normal domestic settings. If a Nahlkin product is used in the way it’s intended and it breaks down within the warranty period, it’s our responsibility to repair or replace it free of cost. There are, however, some circumstances in which a Nahlkin warranty doesn’t cover the repair or replacement of the product free of cost. These aren’t hidden in the small print. Here’s what isn’t covered:
- Normal wear and tear, includes all parts that might wear out over time.
- Accidental damage.
- Damage caused by not carrying out the recommended appliance maintenance.
- Damage from external sources such as transit, weather, electrical outages, or power surges.
- Failures are caused by circumstances outside of Nahlkin’s control.
- Faults caused by:
- Negligent use, misuse, neglect, or careless operation of the machine;
- Use of the Nahlkin product which is not in accordance with the Nahlkin Operating Manual;
- Use of a Nahlkin product for anything other than normal domestic household purposes in the country in which it was purchased.
- Use of parts not assembled or installed in accordance with the instructions of Nahlkin.
- Use of parts and accessories which are not Nahlkin Genuine Components.
- Faulty assembly or installation (except where carried out by Nahlkin).
- Repairs or alterations carried out by parties other than Nahlkin or its authorized agents.
